4 candidates are endorsed

The New York State Fraternal Order of Police last night endorsed three Staten Island candidates running for office on Tuesday, citing their "dedication and commitment" to law enforcement.
The candidates receiving endorsements were Assemblyman Matthew Mirones (R-East Shore/Brooklyn); Al Curtis, the Republican candidate for the 23rd state Senate seat, and John Russell, the GOP North Shore Assembly candidate.
